Our building and project consultancy provides technical property advice to landlords, tenants, owners, investors and occupiers. Our expertise and experience allow us to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire lifecycle of a commercial property, including acquisition, ownership, occupation and disposal. Technical due diligence advice – the preparation of building surveys, vendors packs and leaseholder advice to assess the technical aspects of a property during a real estate transaction, typically prior to acquisition or sale.

Dilapidations – advice and guidance to both landlords and tenants on various aspects of dilapidations, including the preparation and negotiation of terminal schedules, dilapidations liability assessments and exit strategy advice, interim schedules and repair notices and advice on section 18 valuations.

Planned preventative maintenance advice – identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.

Party wall matters – helping property owners and occupiers navigate legal and practical issues related to neighbouring properties.

Project monitoring for banks, funds, and tenants – project appraisals, technical and financial monitoring of development schemes.

Energy efficiency advice – advice on improving the energy efficiency of commercial buildings, including carrying out energy audits and recommending measures to reduce energy consumption and costs.

Health and safety – advice on health and safety requirements, including carrying out risk assessments and providing guidance on compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
