Established in 2008, our family owned company has steadily grown over the last 11 years. Our client base has increased dramatically and during that time we have saved our clients over £18 million. We are well regarded as being leading experts in business rates, valuation and lease advice.

Meet the team

    Paul Rabbette, MRICS

    Managing Director

    Paul started his career in property in the Valuation Office. He subsequently went on to become Director of Rating at BBG Commercial/Douglas Duff and then Director & Head of Rating at CBRE in Birmingham, before deciding to set up Paul Rabbette Ltd. in May 2008. Paul is a member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Rating Surveyors Association (RSA) and is a RICS Registered Valuer.

    Paul is a keen runner and enjoys walking his dogs and gardening. He plays guitar and can occasionally be seen performing locally.

    Kit Rabbette, MRICS

    Associate Director

    Kit is an Associate Director in our Bristol office. He specialises in Lease Advisory matters (rent reviews, lease renewals, leasehold acquisitions, etc.) and minimising Business Rates liability.

    Kit started his career in DTZ’s National Rating Team, and later moved on to Cushman & Wakefield’s Landlord & Tenant department. As part of this role, Kit managed the L&T account for Vodafone UK. Kit is a professional member of the RICS, a Registered Valuer and an affiliate member of the Rating Surveyor’s Association. Outside of work Kit is enjoys mountaineering, skiing and playing classical guitar.

    Lauren Rabbette, MRICS

    Senior Surveyor

    Lauren is a Senior Surveyor based in our Bristol office, she focuses on Business Rates and Lease Advisory work. Lauren started her career at Rapleys LLP, specialising in lease renewals, rent reviews and lease renegotiation. She developed both a firm understanding in surveying theory, as well as a strong work ethic, by completing a Masters’ degree in Real Estate at the same time as working full time. Lauren then moved to Avison Young, focusing on commercial property valuations. During this period she gained membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and became an RICS Registered Valuer.

    Outside of work Lauren enjoys cycling and scaling mountains.

    Carol Rabbette

    Operations Manager

    After working as a town planner and sustainability expert for a number of years in both the public and higher education sectors, Carol took on the formal role of Operations Manager in the family business in 2011. She tries to ensure the smooth running of the business, and deals with all non-surveying issues; she’ll be found chasing up queries and implementing systems to make life easier and more efficient for our surveyors.

    Outside of work Carol enjoys walking and gardening, spending time with family and friends, singing in a local choir and being involved in local community activities.

    Katherine Harvey


    Katherine started her career as a Graphic Designer, after graduating from De Montfort University in 2001. More recently she has worked in Customer Service, dealing with the public, handling existing customer accounts, acquiring new business, account handling & general administration.

    When she is not working Katherine enjoys singing & performing in a local choir, swimming and gardening.

    Jupiter the Dog

    Head of Security

    Being a small family business means that everyone gets involved in the day to day running of the company. Jupiter the dog has been our head of security for over 5 years during which time he has learnt to take the ruff with the smooth.

    Skampy the Dog

    Internal Post Technician

    Skampy is our second longest serving member of staff, for which she was recently been given a round of a paws for. Though she’s well past the retirement age in dog years, she still fetches the newspaper for us.
